The Commission must conduct a complete inventory of data management systems in state bodies and organizations by December 1 and develop a unified approach to data management. It is planned to launch the National Data Platform by July 1, 2027.

A meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed plans to develop the national statistical system until 2030.
These plans include reducing the reporting burden on entrepreneurs by 20 percent, increasing the number of administrative and alternative data sources by 1.7 times, reducing their processing time by 20 percent, and reducing costs by 25 percent.
A proposal was put forward to establish a Data Management Commission with the participation of ministries and departments in order to form a unified approach to data management.
The Commission will conduct a complete inventory of data management systems in state bodies and organizations by December 1 of this year. It will also approve a plan of measures to improve them by May 1, 2027.
The National Data Platform is planned to be launched by July 1, 2027. This platform will serve to integrate data into a single system, ensure their quality and security, analyze and develop modern digital services.
In addition, it was proposed to establish a project office for working with Open Data and introduce an “Open Data Rating” for government agencies.
In order to train personnel and expand research in the field of statistics, it is planned to establish a School of Data-Driven Management. This school will provide training programs in data management, business analytics, artificial intelligence, data journalism and visualization for government agencies, businesses, statistical bodies, the media, researchers and students.
The use of digital technologies in the national statistical system will also be expanded. By July 1, 2027, statistical data will be published in formats readable by artificial intelligence systems. Artificial intelligence agents will be introduced that will allow for comparison and in-depth analysis of statistical indicators. By the end of 2027, data on population, demography, agriculture, infrastructure, and regional development will be reflected on geospatial digital maps.
