A business census will be conducted in Uzbekistan from October 15 to November 30, 2026. Based on the results, the statistical registers of companies and organizations in the country will be updated.

According to the presidential press service, the strategy for developing the statistical system through 2030 aims to reduce the reporting burden on the business sector by 20%. It is also planned to increase the number of administrative and alternative sources of information by 1.7 times. It is expected that the time spent on data processing will be reduced by 20%, and associated costs will be reduced by 25%.

To ensure unified data management, it is proposed to form a special commission comprising representatives from various ministries and agencies. By December 1 of this year, this commission will conduct a comprehensive inventory of existing government data management systems and, by May 1, 2027, will develop a plan for their optimization.
