Uzbekistan to allocate up to $50,000 for national brands

Uzbekistan will provide subsidies of up to $50,000 to national brands for promotion in foreign markets and entry into international markets.

Uzbekistan will provide subsidies of up to $50,000 to national brands seeking to enter international markets. These measures are enshrined in Decree No. UP-175 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 27, 2026, "On measures to implement the objectives identified during the 6th Open Dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and entrepreneurs."

The funding will be used to promote national brands abroad, as well as to bring products and brands into compliance with international standards.

In addition, the document provides for 50% compensation for the costs of attracting foreign specialists to create and develop brands. The maximum amount of such compensation will be $500,000.

Entrepreneurs will also receive 50% reimbursement for expenses related to placing and selling products through marketplaces.

A separate initiative concerns companies' participation in international tenders. The state will reimburse up to 80% of the costs of engaging consulting firms to prepare for and participate in such tenders, as well as direct costs associated with participating in international tenders.

The measures envisaged by the decree are intended to support national brands as they enter foreign markets, facilitate the promotion of Uzbek products, and expand entrepreneurs' opportunities to participate in international trade.
