E-Promo Group enters the Uzbek advertising market
Russian advertising group E-Promo Group has registered a legal entity in Uzbekistan and plans to invest approximately $1 million over two years.

Russian advertising group E-Promo Group announced its entry into the Uzbek advertising market, where it has already registered a legal entity. Over the next two years, the company plans to invest approximately $1 million and employ approximately 30 local employees, Kommersant reported, citing E-Promo Group.
Company representatives explained that their presence in Uzbekistan will enable them to conclude contracts and conduct payments in the national currency, as well as directly interact with local advertisers, partners, and media outlets.
E-Promo attributes its decision to enter the market to its rapid growth. The company estimates that by the end of 2025, the size of the Uzbek advertising market will have increased by 30-40%, reaching $260 million. By the end of 2026, this figure is expected to exceed $300 million, with continued high growth rates.
E-Promo also notes the growing interest of Russian brands in the Uzbek advertising market. According to the company's estimates, Russian advertisers already account for approximately 10% of the country's market. Given that many Russian companies have only entered the Uzbek market in recent years, E-Promo believes their share could increase.
According to the advertising group, the greatest demand for promotion in Uzbekistan comes from companies in the fintech, marketplaces, and classifieds sectors. E-Promo attributes this to the high share of internet users and the growth of e-commerce.
Russian companies are showing greater interest in digital advertising, as this segment in Uzbekistan is growing faster than traditional advertising channels. One of the most popular promotional tools is Telegram.
Other industry representatives have also noted the growing interest of Russian advertisers in placing ads on Telegram in Uzbekistan. Telega.in reported an increase in demand for Telegram advertising in the CIS markets, especially in Uzbekistan, from both large brands and small companies.
Telega.in Communications Director Ksenia Pavlenko linked this trend to the expansion of promotion geography, the growth of Telegram as an advertising and content platform, and the increase in the number of advertising campaigns by Russian businesses.
According to Alexander Solonin, Director of Digital Development at the Igronik Group, Russian advertisers are moving from isolated test placements to more systematic work with local audiences. Igor Demidov, CEO of the digital agency D-Agency, noted the need for Russian businesses to have advertising partners familiar with the specifics of domestic companies and the local market.
According to E-Promo, in alliance with Group4Media and MG Group, the company ranks sixth in the AKAR and Sostav media agency rankings for 2026. According to AKAR, E-Promo's media purchases by the end of 2025 amounted to 4.2 billion rubles.
Advertising market participants also attribute the companies' expanding presence in the CIS countries to the region's economic growth. Anna Planina, CEO of NMi Digital, noted that Uzbekistan's GDP grew by 8.5% from January to June 2026, and this economic growth is accompanied by increased advertising activity.
According to market participants, the creation of advertising infrastructure by Russian companies in the CIS countries also facilitates the promotion of Russian brands on international platforms, including Telegram.
