Uzbekistan has worsened its position in the authoritative passport ranking

Uzbekistan dropped its position in a prestigious passport ranking

Uzbekistan ranked 82nd out of 106 in the updated global passport ranking prepared by the international consulting firm Henley & Partners.

It should be noted that compared to the results of 2025, the country lost 3 positions — back then, the republic occupied the 79th line.

At present, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit 57 countries around the world without a prior visa or by obtaining a visa on arrival. In the current index, the Uzbek passport shared the 82nd line with the documents of Burkina Faso and Togo.

Singapore remains the leader of the global ranking, whose passport holders can enter 193 countries without a visa. Last place is occupied by Afghanistan, whose citizens have access to 22 destinations without a visa.

As a reminder, starting September 15, citizens of Uzbekistan must obtain a visa in advance to travel to Thailand. Subsequently, Egypt introduced a similar restriction. It will take effect on November 1.
