Uzbek authorities have simplified entry regulations for certain groups of foreign tourists. Starting September 1, 2026, Indian citizens will be able to visit the country visa-free for up to 30 days.
The President signed a decree establishing new border crossing rules. Visa-free entry will be available to Indians holding valid multiple-entry tourist or business visas from a number of developed countries.
The list of such visas includes visas from the United States, the United Kingdom, Schengen countries, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand. To enter, tourists will also be required to present a return air ticket to their home country or a third country.
