Uzbekistan has approved a new procedure for the transfer and reinstatement of students from vocational educational institutions, as well as the transfer of tenth-graders from general education schools to technical schools.
This Administrative Regulation was established by Resolution No. 450 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 20, 2026, as stated in the document.
According to the regulation, applications for transfer or reinstatement are accepted annually from August 1 to 20. For tenth-grade students from general education schools wishing to transfer to technical schools, a separate application deadline has been established: from December 28 to January 17.
This government service can be accessed through Government Service Centers or through the Unified Portal of Interactive Government Services my.gov.uz.
After the established application deadline, the authorized body reviews the submitted documents within 10 days. If the submitted data and documents meet the requirements of the regulation, the body issues a decision on the transfer or reinstatement. It is important to note that the transfer of students from other modes of study, as well as tenth-graders from general education institutions, to technical schools with dual education is not permitted.
If, after receiving the authorized body's conclusion, inaccurate information is discovered in it, the applicant has the right to reapply for the public service. This can be done in the prescribed manner within 15 days.
