The final two matches of the round of 16 of the Uzbekistan Football Cup have concluded.

### “G‘azalkent” — “Qo‘qon-1912”

In a match full of unexpected results, “G‘azalkent” hosted “Qo‘qon-1912” on their home field. As early as the 7th minute of the match, Suhrob Sadirjonov opened the scoring, putting the hosts ahead — 1:0. In the 75th minute of the second half, Diyor Tojiyev doubled the lead, consolidating “G‘azalkent’s” advantage — 2:0. Although the visitors managed to reduce the deficit through a goal scored by Silvanus Nimeli in the 81st minute, they could not restore parity in the remaining minutes.

Thus, “G‘azalkent” advanced to the quarterfinals of the Uzbekistan Cup. “Qo‘qon-1912” ended its tournament run in the round of 16.

Shortly before the end of regular time, in the 86th minute, Umidbek Sultonov brought the score to 1:1. However, in the 90+10th minute of added time, the Almalyk side earned another penalty. Stepping up to the spot, Siavash Haqnazari scored his second goal, bringing victory to his team — 2:1.
