Guliston and Neftchi advance to the quarterfinals of the Uzbekistan Cup

Guliston became the first First League team to reach the quarterfinals of the Uzbekistan Cup.

"Guliston" and "Neftchi" advanced to the quarterfinals of the Uzbekistan Cup.

Two matches of the semi-final stage of the Uzbekistan Cup in football have been completed.

The match between "Surkhon" and "Guliston" in the city of Almalyk ended with the victory of "Guliston" with a score of 0:1. The goal scored by Asilbek Umirzakov in the 52nd minute of the match was decisive.

This victory made "Guliston" the first First League team to reach the quarterfinals of the Uzbekistan Cup.

The second match of the day was held in Fergana, at the "Istiklol" stadium. In it, "Neftchi" defeated "Pakhtakor" with a score of 1:0. The only goal of the hosts was scored in the 81st minute by Stipe Peritsa.

Two more matches will be held on August 30. Sogdiana will face QMU Jayhun and Navbahor will face Nasaf for a place in the quarterfinals.
