Super League: "Sogdiana" defeated "Qizilqum" at home, "Bukhara" won over "Neftchi" with a big score

A number of interesting matches took place in the 18th round of the Uzbekistan Super League.

**"Sogdiana" — "Qizilqum"**

In the first match of the round, the "Sogdiana" team from Jizzakh hosted the "Qizilqum" club from Navoi.

In the 39th minute of the match, the hosts opened the scoring: Jizzakh striker Lyupcho Doriev scored the opponent's goal. At the beginning of the second half, "Qizilqum" striker Otabek Jurakouziyev restored the balance. In the 74th minute, the hosts took the lead again: after a pass from Zabihillo Orinbayev, Bosnian striker Zenan Zaymovic scored a clear shot into the opponent's goal, making the score 2:1.

After this victory, "Sogdiana" rose to 8th place in the tournament table with 24 points. "Qizilqum" is in 11th place with 20 points.

"Sogdiana" will face "Neftchi" away in the 19th round. "Qizilqum" will play against "Nasaf" from Karshi.

Another interesting match of the round took place in Bukhara. In it, the "Bukhara" team played against the Fergana "Neftchi" club.

In the 37th minute of the first half, Sherzod Esanov scored a penalty kick, putting the hosts ahead. At the end of the half, the guests equalized: after a pass from Jovovich, "Neftchi" defender Nurmahammad Abduganiyev scored with his head. In the first minute of the second half, Sherzod Esanov scored a brace, scoring the goal guarded by Botirali Ergashev. In the 73rd minute, Temur Mamasidikov successfully completed a combination between Shahboz Jorayev and Javohir Roziyev, increasing the lead to two. In the second minute of added time, Bukhara striker Vladimir Rodich scored the final point of the game, paving the way for his team to win by a large margin - 4:1.

After this victory, Bukhara is in 3rd place in the tournament table with 33 points. Neftchi is leading the tournament table with 42 points.

Neftchi will host Sogdiana at home in the 19th round. Bukhara will play against Kokand-1912.
