Uzbekistan Cup: Neftchi knocks out reigning champion Pakhtakor

In the semi-final round of the Uzbekistan Cup, Fergana's Neftchi defeated Tashkent's Pakhtakor at home and qualified for the quarterfinals.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 81st minute. Substitute Stipe Peritsa headed home a free kick to give Neftchi the win.

Pakhtakor also created several dangerous situations during the match, but Fergana's goalkeeper Botirali Ergashev played a convincing game. Neftchi, on the other hand, kept the score until the end of the match.

Thus, Neftchi knocked out the reigning champion of the Uzbekistan Cup, Pakhtakor, from the competition.
