Uzbekistan and Poland expand cooperation in vocational education

Uzbekistan and Poland have agreed to expand cooperation in the field of vocational education. This was reported by the Dunyo agency.

At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, an online meeting was held between the Vocational Education Agency and representatives of the Polish educational institution Techni Schools. The issues of developing technical schools, training modern specialists, international certification, and the use of information technologies and artificial intelligence in education were discussed.

The head of Techni Schools expressed his readiness to launch pilot projects in cooperation with technical schools and colleges in Uzbekistan. At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to develop practical proposals for introducing the advanced experience of the Polish educational institution into the vocational education system of Uzbekistan.

We remind you that starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, candidates for the position of director of vocational education organizations in Uzbekistan will be required to have a management certificate. According to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision of August 20, directors and deputy directors must complete 144 hours of management courses and pass a final test. Those who score 70 points or higher will be issued an electronic certificate valid for 5 years.
