Uzbekistan and Mordovia expand industrial cooperation
Uzbekistan and Mordovia discussed expanding joint projects in pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, metallurgy, and other sectors.

Uzbekistan and Mordovia have agreed to expand cooperation in the industrial sector.
On August 20, the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with the Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening trade and economic ties, developing industrial cooperation and expanding direct interregional cooperation.
The meeting paid special attention to the implementation of joint projects in such areas as pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, metallurgy, agriculture, wood processing and information technologies.
The possibilities of locating new production facilities in the territories of industrial parks in Bukhara, Navoi and Jizzakh regions were also considered. The issue of expanding direct ties between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Mordovia was also discussed in detail.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to intensify work on specific cooperation and investment initiatives. In order to implement these initiatives, representatives of the relevant structures and business circles of both sides will continue to cooperate.
