Uzbekistan and Israel to expand employment cooperation

Uzbekistan and Israel intend to deepen cooperation in the area of employment.

The head of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, Bekhzod Musayev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan, Gideon Lustig.

During the talks, the parties discussed expanding organized employment for Uzbek citizens in Israel, as well as optimizing existing recruitment mechanisms.

Particular attention was paid to improving the candidate selection process and reducing the financial costs associated with employing Uzbek citizens in Israel.

The Israeli side highly praised the work of Uzbek workers in the construction and elderly care sectors. Prospects for expanding cooperation in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, and technical specialties were also noted.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit by the head of the Israeli Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) to Uzbekistan. This visit is expected to be an important step in further developing cooperation in the area of labor migration.
