Uzbekistan and Germany to expand cooperation in migration

Uzbekistan and Germany intend to deepen cooperation in the area of migration. Bekhzod Musayev, Head of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, met with Matthias Vollert, the new German Ambassador to Uzbekistan. During the talks, the parties discussed expanding organized employment opportunities for Uzbek citizens in Germany, their vocational training, and German language skills.

Particular attention was paid to training personnel tailored to the needs of the German labor market. Germany continues to have significant demand for medical workers, drivers, hospitality and catering professionals, and technical professionals.

The Uzbek side confirmed its readiness to develop vocational training programs for citizens, taking into account the requirements and demands of German employers.

Furthermore, the meeting participants agreed to expedite the visa process for Uzbek citizens planning to work in Germany.

The parties also expressed their intention to attract new employers and educational institutions in Germany to the cooperation. This is expected to contribute to expanding opportunities for organized employment and training of Uzbek specialists for work in the German market.
