During a visit to the Republic of Korea, an Uzbek delegation, including representatives of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry and the National Research Institute of Biopharmaceuticals, held talks with representatives of Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp., according to the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential for applying Korean experience to Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry and the potential for joint projects.
Representatives of Chong Kun Dang shared information about the company's achievements in pharmaceutical production and the development of innovative drugs, with a particular focus on biological drugs and biosimilars.
The Uzbek delegation also examined the company's approaches to creating a modern production infrastructure that meets GMP standards and was introduced to its quality control system and research and development.
One of the key topics of the talks was the introduction of advanced Korean methods into Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry. The parties also discussed the training of highly qualified personnel for the biopharmaceutical industry and the development of knowledge and experience exchange between specialists from both countries.
Furthermore, the meeting participants discussed the prospects for joint research and production initiatives in biopharmaceuticals, including technology transfer and identifying priority areas for further cooperation.
