Uzbekistan and Armenia will develop new projects on industrial cooperation

On September 11, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

During the conversation, topical aspects of further developing Uzbekistan-Armenia relations, primarily in trade, economic, and investment areas, were discussed.

In this context, the need to develop new joint projects on industrial cooperation was particularly emphasized.

The leader of Uzbekistan noted the importance of strengthening connectivity by developing logistics and transport corridors linking the Central Asian and South Caucasus regions.

The President highly appreciated the efforts towards the swift signing of a Peace Treaty, which will serve as a solid foundation for regional stability and sustainable development.

The schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events, including those within the framework of the United Nations and the Commonwealth of Independent States, was also reviewed.

The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Serbia held historic talks in Belgrade, giving a new impetus to multifaceted cooperation. The key outcome of the meeting was the approval of the Joint Action Plan for the development of industrial partnership for 2026–2028, which will lay the foundation for the implementation of large-scale projects in trade, logistics, and manufacturing.
