Uzbek cyclists won two gold medals at the Asian Cup.

The Uzbekistan national cycling team made a successful start to the Asian Cup track cycling stage in Bangkok, Thailand, winning two gold medals on the first day of competition.

Sergey Rostovtsev, who won the scratch event, and Samira Ismailova, who achieved the best result in the individual pursuit, earned these top honors for the national team.

Rostovtsev had previously distinguished himself at the IV Budapest GP international tournament in Hungary, where he won two medals: the points race and the silver medal in the scratch event. A few days earlier, he also won three medals at the GP Slovak Cycling Federation international track cycling tournament, which took place from August 7 to 9 in Prešov, Slovakia.
