Sergei Rostovtsev won gold and silver at the track cycling tournament in Budapest.

Sergey Rostovtsev of Uzbekistan won gold and silver medals at the IV Budapest GP international track cycling tournament, held in Hungary.

According to Podrobno.uz news agency, Sergey Rostovtsev, a representative of the Uzbekistan track cycling team, won the points race and took second in the scratch.

The Class 2 competition was held in Budapest on August 11-12. Rostovtsev scored 116 points in the points race, leading all competitors. The 30-kilometer (150 laps) race earned him points at the intermediate finishes, securing the best result.

In the scratch, Rostovtsev finished second, behind Canadian Dylan Bibicz. Polish cyclist Daniel Staniszewski took third place.

Thus, Sergey Rostovtsev completed his performance at the IV Budapest GP with two medals: gold and silver. In total, the Uzbekistan team won two gold medals and one silver medal at the tournament.

Earlier, Nikita Tsvetkov, also representing Uzbekistan, won the 4th Budapest GP in the Olympic omnium, scoring 146 points in four runs and winning the gold medal.
