Nikita Tsvetkov won a gold medal for Uzbekistan, winning the IV Budapest GP.

According to Podrobno.uz news agency from Tashkent, Nikita Tsvetkov, a representative of the Uzbekistan national team, triumphed at the IV Budapest GP international tournament, held in Hungary. He won the Olympic omnium event.

In the omnium competition, the athlete demonstrated a confident performance in all four races. Tsvetkov scored 40 points in both the Scratch and Tempo Races, finishing first in both.

He also left no chance for his rivals in the Elimination, where he crossed the finish line first. In the final race, the Point Race, the Uzbek cyclist added another 26 points to his tally.

Nikita Tsvetkov's total score was 146 points, allowing him to take the top step of the podium and bring the gold medal to the Uzbekistan delegation.

Earlier, Tsvetkov took third place in the men's competition at the Grand Prix of Road Cycling, which took place in the Jizzakh region.
