Uzbek citizens in Russia recovered 457 thousand rubles in unpaid wages

Uzbek citizens working in Russia managed to secure the return of 457 thousand rubles in wage arrears. The representative office of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan helped resolve this issue.

According to the agency, the workers sought assistance due to delays in receiving their earned funds. Agency staff contacted the employer and conducted negotiations, after which the debt was fully paid off.

The Migration Agency reminded that Uzbek citizens working abroad are advised to sign official employment contracts. This helps protect their rights and achieve the payment of wages in cases of delay or an employer's refusal to settle accounts.

If similar problems arise, labor migrants can seek help from the representative offices of the Migration Agency.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbeks working abroad were helped to recover 850 thousand dollars in unpaid wages and compensation.
