The maximum income of a city bus driver in Tashkent can reach up to 17 million soums per month. The final amount is determined by the type of bus, length of service, qualifications, number of hours worked, adherence to the schedule, and quality of work.

The highest maximum payment is set for drivers of 18-meter King Long buses — approximately 17 million soums. For MAN and Mercedes drivers, it can be up to 15.9 million, for methane-powered Yutong buses — 15 million, for Yutong electric buses — almost 15 million, and for Isuzu and SAZ — about 13.5 million soums. At the same time, this refers specifically to the maximum amount when all established indicators are met.

The calculation takes into account actual hours worked, work during night hours and on holidays, length of service, and qualifications. A separate part of the earnings depends on KPIs: route completion, compliance with traffic rules, absence of road accidents, discipline, stopping at designated places, and adherence to the schedule. For instance, an allowance of 50% is provided for more than 20 years of service, and 25% for the first driver category.

Monitoring is carried out via GPS, cameras, and a bus tracking system. The company noted that the base tariff rate itself is significantly lower than the maximum payment: for example, for King Long, it is about 5 million soums, while the final salary increases due to allowances and bonuses.

It is also reported that a proposal has been made to raise the public transport fare in Tashkent from 1.7 thousand to 2.5 thousand soums when paying with an electronic card.
