A cinema chain in the Netherlands is planning to conduct an unusual experiment: audiences will be hypnotized to forget movies they have seen before and watch them as if for the very first time. According to the company, the session will take place on November 9 at a cinema in The Hague.

Participants in the experiment must choose one of the following films: "The Matrix", "Se7en", "La La Land", or "Interstellar". Participation is free; the application deadline closed on October 29.

Thirty people will be selected for the project. Each of them will undergo an individual online session with hypnothesist Viktor Kramer, who has been practicing hypnosis for 30 years. Immediately before the screening, the audience will be placed into a state of hypnosis once again. The organizers want to test whether it is possible to bring back the emotions felt when watching a movie for the first time: whether it will be possible to forget the movie or not remains to be seen.
