Two female athletes from Uzbekistan won gold on the first day of the Para-cycling World Championships

The Uzbekistan national team started the Para-cycling Road World Championships in Huntsville, USA, with two victories. On the first day of the tournament, Pokiza Akhmadbekova and Marjona Pardaboeva won gold medals in their respective classes.

Pokiza Akhmadbekova, competing in the H1 class, was the first to cover her distance and became the gold medal winner. This is the first top-tier award for the Uzbekistan national team at this tournament.

Then, another gold was brought by Marjona Pardaboeva in the T1 class. She also showed the best result in her race and finished first.

The competition is taking place in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. The Para-cycling Road World Championships continue.

Earlier, the Uzbekistan national para-cycling team made a stellar performance at the Asian Road Championships, which took place in Saudi Arabia.
