Uzbekistan’s Sherzodova, Zakirova Win World Championship Silver

Uzbekistan’s Shohsanam Sherzodova and Nilufar Zakirova won silver in the women’s 200m final at the World Canoe Championships in Poznan.

Shohsanam Sherzodova and Nilufar Zakirova, representing the Uzbekistan national team, secured silver medals at the World Canoe and Kayak Championships held in Poznan, Poland. The Uzbek pair earned their silver by finishing as runners-up in the women’s 200-meter final at the world championships. This medal marks Uzbekistan's second at the ongoing world championships. Previously, Artur Guliyev had also won a silver medal in the men’s 200-meter event within the same discipline.
