Trump's special envoy wants to meet with Zelenskyy and Putin again
US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff plans to hold separate meetings with Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin in the coming days. According to Reuters sources, he may first attend talks in Norway and then travel to Russia. For now, these plans are at an initial stage.

Trump's special envoy plans to meet with Zelenskyy and Putin again. Reuters, citing unnamed sources on the night of October 20, reports that the talks in Oslo are expected to take place during the week of October 19–25.
In addition to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Steve Witkoff, representatives from Norway, Great Britain, France, Germany, Poland, the European Union, and NATO are expected to participate in the meeting.
After that, Witkoff wants to go to Russia to meet with Vladimir Putin. According to sources, along with Russia's war against Ukraine, the talks may also discuss the release of 73-year-old American Stephen Hubbard from a Russian prison. Hubbard was convicted in Russia on charges of mercenary activity and serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Jared Kushner, the U.S. president's son-in-law who usually accompanies Witkoff in negotiations, may not participate in person this time. According to one of Reuters' interlocutors, Kushner is ill and may join the meetings online.
The agency's sources noted that the travel and meeting plans are not yet final. U.S. officials have not yet commented on this information.
Zelenskyy said on October 19 that Ukrainian and U.S. negotiators might meet in Norway in the coming days, but did not indicate his own participation. He had spoken with Witkoff and Kushner by phone on October 18.
