Tried to hold onto the laptop. The administration of the Al-Beruni School revealed details of the student's death
The Al-Beruni International Boarding School reported details of the incident involving a 10th-grade student who fell from a fourth-floor window of the dormitory on September 5. According to the administration, the teenager wanted to catch a laptop that accidentally fell out of the window, lost his balance, and fell down.
The accident occurred on September 5 at approximately 15:10 in the dormitory where the boarding school students live. The teenager was in his room on the fourth floor, working on his laptop by the window. When the device fell outside, he tried to hold onto it, lost his balance, and fell.
An ambulance was immediately called to the scene, and the parents were notified. Initially, the teenager was taken to the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy, then transferred to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care.
The youth was diagnosed with a spinal fracture, a bone fracture in the foot area, as well as a lung hematoma resulting from chest compression. The boarding school reported that no surgery was scheduled for him: the teenager was provided with the necessary medical care and nutrition.
Ten days later, on the morning of September 15, the student's father informed the executive director of the boarding school of his death. Following this, law enforcement agencies obtained statements from the parents of the deceased and the head of the educational institution. According to the information provided by the boarding school, in these statements they indicated that they had no claims against each other.
A forensic medical examination was ordered to establish the cause of death. After its completion, the teenager was transported to the Namangan district, where the funeral took place on September 15.
The boarding school emphasized that the deceased was one of the school's best students. He won prizes at national and international mathematics olympiads, studied well, and was respected among classmates and teachers.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office informed a Podrobno.uz correspondent that a pre-investigation check is being conducted into the student's death.
