In Tashkent, a boarding school student died after falling from the 4th floor of a dormitory

In Tashkent, a boarding school student fell from the 4th floor of a dormitory and passed away. Hayot Shamsutdinov, the head of the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, confirmed this incident to "Daryo".

It is reported that the student, Sh.J., fell from the fourth floor of the boarding school dormitory 10 days ago.

He sustained severe injuries and was hospitalized, but passed away on September 15.

Currently, the Olmazor district prosecutor's office is conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the situation.

The student had been winning prizes in national and international competitions in mathematics and science. In 2026, he won a gold medal at the international tournament of young researchers held in the city of Almaty.
