An investigation is underway in Tashkent regarding an incident where a 3rd-grade student was allegedly forced to swallow a bracelet in a school restroom. According to the school principal, although the incident occurred during the 1st period, the child remained active during subsequent classes and the following day, showing no signs of depression. Meanwhile, the doctor stated that the patient's condition remains serious after the surgery, but improvement is expected.

At School 151 in Tashkent, it is alleged that when a 3rd-grade student went to the restroom, upperclassmen forced him to swallow a metal bracelet. As a result, the boy underwent major surgery, and five centimeters of his intestine were removed.

According to school principal Sevara Zufarova, the incident occurred on September 3 at approximately 12:30 PM.

"The student came to school and asked his teacher for permission to go to the restroom during the 1st period (2nd shift). He returned to class in less than 10 minutes, and he was in a good mood. That day, he completed tasks on the board during math class. He was active during the 4 hours of classes until the evening. The teacher did not notice any bad mood. The next day, September 4, the student also came to school and was active in classes. Neither his classmates nor the class teacher noticed anything indicating he was in distress or that someone had upset him.

We found out about the situation on Sunday, shortly before it spread on social media. We contacted his mother and delivered medicines – we tried to provide financial assistance, which was done out of humanity, because every student is our child," she says.

The school principal added that psychologists are also working with the students regarding this situation.

It is still unclear who did this. The claims that upperclassmen did it are based on information the child told his mother and her assumptions.

"A new 4-story building was completed for us, and on September 2, we welcomed students into this building. Only primary school students – grades 1 to 4 – study in this building. There is no way for upperclassmen to go there or pass through during the lesson process. However, on social media, it is suspected that they were upperclassmen.

Looking at the situation objectively, I accepted the mother's decision to post this on social media. Because she wanted to say that parents need to be even more attentive so that such situations do not occur in other schools. This will also cause the staff of other schools to be more attentive.
