Travel expenses, job vacancies, and kindergarten waiting lists: what state bodies are required to publish openly

Uzbekistan's government agencies must now make 43 types of socially significant information publicly available. As reminded by the Anti-Corruption Agency, this information must be accessible on the official websites of organizations and on the Open Data Portal.

What exactly state bodies are required to disclose:

• how much money is spent on business trips and hosting foreign guests;

• information on official vehicles and real estate of the agencies;

• data on public procurement and job vacancies, including requirements for candidates;

• waiting lists for the Hajj pilgrimage and state kindergartens;

• reports on the income and expenses of state universities.

Monitoring the transparency of this data is carried out by the Anti-Corruption Agency. Citizens can report violations or instances of corruption by calling 1253.
