Tourist flow from Germany to Uzbekistan grew by 27%

During the seven months of 2026, 26.1 thousand German citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes, which is 27% more.

Tourist flow from Germany to Uzbekistan increased by 27%

In January–July 2026, 26.1 thousand German citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes.

Compared to the same period in 2025, this figure increased by 5.5 thousand people, or by 27%. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

The majority of arrivals were tourists who specified travel as the purpose of their trip. During the seven months, 23,138 German citizens visited Uzbekistan for this purpose.

Another 1,481 people came to the country to visit relatives. Business trips were made by 1,286 German citizens, and commercial trips by 132 people.

In addition, 54 German citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for study, and one more person for medical treatment.

Thus, travel accounted for about 88.7% of the total number of trips by German citizens to Uzbekistan in January–July 2026.

The figure is calculated based on 23,138 tourists and the total number of 26.1 thousand people.
