Foreign trips of Uzbeks have increased

In January-July 2026, 4.4 million Uzbek citizens traveled abroad for tourist purposes. Uzbeks traveled most often to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.

The number of trips abroad by citizens of Uzbekistan has increased.

According to the National Statistics Committee, in the first seven months of this year, the number of citizens of Uzbekistan who went abroad for tourist purposes increased by 45.6 thousand compared to the same period last year.

During this period, the largest number of Uzbek citizens traveled to Kyrgyzstan - 1 million 981.5 thousand people. The next places were occupied by Kazakhstan - 805.4 thousand people and Tajikistan - about 745 thousand people.

222.6 thousand Uzbek citizens traveled to Russia for tourist purposes. The number of people traveling to Saudi Arabia was 167.3 thousand, and those traveling to Turkey - 166.9 thousand.

Thus, in January-July 2026, neighboring countries led the way in foreign trips by citizens of Uzbekistan.
