From which countries do most tourists come to Uzbekistan?
More than 7.7 million foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes in January-July 2026. Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan are leading in terms of tourist arrivals.

Which countries do tourists mainly come from to Uzbekistan?
According to the National Statistics Committee, in the first seven months of this year, a total of 7,749,308 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourist purposes. This figure is 1.4 million people or 22.6 percent more than in the same period last year.
The largest number of tourists came to Uzbekistan from Kyrgyzstan, with 2,177,108 in seven months. Next in line were Kazakhstan (1,855,562) and Tajikistan (1,728,978).
Also, 710,824 tourists from Russia, 281,200 from Afghanistan and 269,735 from China visited Uzbekistan. The number of arrivals from Turkmenistan was 192,830, and from Turkey - 111,908. The top 10 also includes India (32,462) and Korea (26,512).
Thus, the majority of foreigners arriving in Uzbekistan for tourist purposes come from neighboring Central Asian countries.
