Three Uzbek citizens killed in car accident in Kazakhstan

Three Uzbek citizens died in a road accident in Kazakhstan. The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported this.

According to the report, on August 22 at 06:47 in the morning in the Birkazan district of the Kyzylorda region, at kilometers 1831-1836 of the KAZ06 state highway "Qorabutak-Kyzylorda-Shymkent", a Nexia-2 passenger car and a Kamaz truck collided.

As a result of this accident, three Uzbek citizens who were in the Nexia-2 died on the spot.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations, in cooperation with the relevant ministries and departments, has formed a working group and is taking all necessary measures to repatriate the bodies of the deceased and provide comprehensive assistance to their families.

“Currently, the responsible employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are in constant contact with their Kazakh colleagues and are conducting joint work to study the causes of the accident,” the report says.

We recall that in December 2023, a bus carrying 32 Uzbeks overturned in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, but no one was injured. In September 2024, a car carrying Uzbeks was involved in an accident in the Shymkent region of Kazakhstan. On a section of the Almaty highway where road repair work was underway, an Opel Vectra crashed into a Toyota Alphard, and the driver of the car died at the scene. In October of the same year, six Uzbek citizens died when a JAC car collided with a MAN truck on the side of the road on a highway in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan. There were a total of 10 people in the car, four of whom were hospitalized. They were returning to Uzbekistan from Russia.
