An accident involving Uzbek citizens occurred in the Russian region of Mordovia: 2 people died
Two Uzbek citizens died and three others were injured when a truck crashed into a Spark car with Uzbek license plates in the Russian Republic of Mordovia. The Consulate General is taking steps to repatriate the bodies.
Two people died in a road accident (ADR) involving Uzbek citizens in the Russian region of Mordovia. The Consulate General in Kazan reported this.
The incident occurred on August 6 on the M-5 “Ural” highway near the village of Blokhino in the Lyambir district of the Republic of Mordovia. The accident was caused by a collision between a “MAZ” truck and a Spark car with Uzbek license plates.
Two citizens of Uzbekistan - 30-year-old A.A.P. and 29-year-old B.Sh.A. - died in the accident. Three more citizens - 24-year-old A.R.P., 37-year-old B.M.A. and 20-year-old A.M.P. - were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries in the Central Clinical Hospital of Mordovia.
According to Russian media, a MAZ truck driven by a 58-year-old local resident crashed into a parked Spark car. The photos show the black Spark (license plate 90 N 146 TA) with serious damage to the rear.
According to the prosecutor's office, both of the deceased were passengers. The Spark driver and two other passengers were hospitalized. The truck driver was not injured. A criminal case has been opened into the accident.
The Consulate General reported that it has taken control of the situation. The bodies of the deceased will be returned to Uzbekistan after a forensic examination and other necessary procedures. The victims were also discharged from the hospital after receiving the necessary medical care.
