In Uzbekistan, 87 types of public services have been identified where bureaucratic procedures can be reduced by 65% and delivery times cut in half.
This was announced by Eldor Makhkamov, head of the public services department of the Ministry of Justice. According to him, citizens and entrepreneurs currently need to submit an average of three documents and seven certificates to receive a public service.
In parallel, the share of digital services is increasing. In 2026, 82% of public services are already provided online, and 28 of them are fully automated and delivered without the involvement of staff.
Thanks to this, citizens receive more than 11 million services annually without the need to stand in lines.
