There is no plan to put cars up for sale without a down payment — UzAuto Motors

Reports have circulated on social networks claiming that Chevrolet Damas, Cobalt, Tracker, and Onix cars are being offered for sale in installments with no down payment. UzAuto Motors refuted this information, telling Gazeta that there are currently no plans for such sales for any model.

Reports have circulated on social media claiming that Chevrolet Damas, Cobalt, Tracker, and Onix cars are being offered for sale on an installment basis without a down payment. The press service of UzAuto Motors stated that this information is untrue.

“For now, don't rush to buy a car... a 0-percent installment plan is going to be opened. You won't make any payment at the beginning either. You will pay the rest in monthly installments of the original price. God willing, it will open soon without a down payment.

The press service of UzAuto Motors added to Gazeta that currently there are no plans to offer any model for sale under installment terms without a down payment.

The company asked members of the public and social media users not to spread unverified and misleading false information.

As a reminder, UzAuto Motors started selling Chevrolet Cobalt and Damas cars on installment plans without the involvement of banks on October 7.

The down payment is 50% for Cobalt and 30% for Damas. The company stated that the number of cars in this sale is limited.
