There are almost 5 million personal vehicles in Uzbekistan.

The number of private vehicles in Uzbekistan has reached nearly 5 million.

As of July 1, 4,982,516 cars and other types of transport are registered to individuals in Uzbekistan, indicating significant growth.

The vast majority of private vehicles are passenger cars—4,618,719 units, accounting for 92.7% of the total. In addition to passenger cars, citizens of Uzbekistan own 343,375 trucks, 7,508 minibuses, 7,128 special vehicles, and 5,786 buses.

The largest number of vehicles is registered in Tashkent—637,706 units. It is followed by the Fergana Region with 573,472 vehicles, the Samarkand Region with 563,072, and the Tashkent Region with 476,148.

The lowest figures were recorded in the Syrdarya Region (110,122 vehicles), the Jizzakh Region (145,392), and the Navoi Region (156,745). Compared to data as of April 1, the number of vehicles owned by the population increased by approximately 79,400.

It was previously reported that Uzbekneftegaz and the Azerbaijani company SOCAR agreed to create a network of modern gas stations in Uzbekistan.
