A video showing a huge crowd of passengers at the "Beruniy" metro station in Tashkent has once again spread on social networks. Tashkent Metro reported that these footages were filmed in 2024 and do not reflect the current situation at the station.

The metro press service stated that this video also spread on social networks in 2025. Official explanations regarding its previous circulation had already been provided.

Currently, Tashkent metro trains are operating in strict accordance with the established schedule, and the stations are functioning in normal mode. Passenger service is also being carried out in routine mode.

The metro also published a new video clip from the "Beruniy" station to confirm the current situation at the station.

The department urged social network users not to spread unverified and outdated information. The metro also reminded that liability is established for spreading false information.

Earlier, it was reported that the Tashkent metro plans to reduce the interval between train movements during peak hours due to the expected increase in passenger flow after the start of the new academic year.
