No step without registration: medical and pharmaceutical workers in Uzbekistan to be entered into a single electronic database
A single electronic registry of specialists in the healthcare and pharmacy sectors will be created in Uzbekistan. This new system will help streamline personnel information and will be linked to 16 different government databases.
The transition to the system is planned to be carried out in stages:
• It is proposed to start registration on a voluntary basis from 2027.
• By 2030, having an entry in the registry will become a mandatory requirement for practicing professional activity.
After the full implementation of the system, specialists who are not in the registry will lose the right to work in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.
