Uzbekistan placed 42nd in the final ranking of the FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival 2026, ahead of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

Uzbekistan U-15 national team becomes the best among Central Asian teams following the FIFA tournament

The Uzbekistan U-15 national team took first place among Central Asian teams in the final standings of the FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival 2026 tournament, which was held in Azerbaijan.

In the overall standings among 189 national teams, Uzbekistan finished in 42nd place. Kyrgyzstan followed among the representatives of Central Asia, taking 52nd place. Kazakhstan finished 85th, Tajikistan 97th, and Turkmenistan 121st.

Thus, the Uzbek team outperformed all other national teams in the region based on the results of the competition.

Spain emerged as the winner of the tournament. Second place went to the Czech Republic, and third place to Greece.
