During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the Land of the Morning Calm, there were many warm meetings and conversations. Within the framework of the first "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" summit, the head of our state held dialogues with the leaders of the region's countries, discussing bilateral relations and new areas of cooperation. Sincere smiles and informal conversations clearly demonstrate the mutual trust between our countries and their leaders.

The conversation with the former Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, Lee Uk-heon, was particularly warm. This meeting provided an opportunity to recall past years and the joint work carried out to strengthen Uzbek-Korean friendship.

Before the summit, the head of our state gladly signed the book "The Mirziyoyev Doctrine," which was translated into the Korean language for the Speaker of the National Assembly. This is another expression of sincere interest in the ideas and reforms of New Uzbekistan.

Our Korean friends approached the state visit with special attention and respect. Bright images of the flag of Uzbekistan were displayed on the tallest building in South Korea — the Lotte World Tower, as well as on the Seoul YTN Tower. On the occasion of our President's visit, an airship in the colors of our flag was flown, and the reflection of our state emblem and flag was shown in the fountain in front of the residence.

In all of this, the warm hospitality and high respect of the hosts were clearly felt.
