In Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Gift Contest continues: winners will receive 20 million sums each

Applications are still being accepted for the second stage of the "Uzbek Gift Contest". The contest is organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the "Hunarmand" Association and the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The aim of the project is to promote national handicraft products as modern tourist souvenirs, to support the creative potential of artisans in the regions, and to create samples of compact, high-quality, and affordable souvenirs for tourists.

The second stage of the contest is held among artisans. Craftspeople need to make applied souvenir products based on the 10 sketches and designs that won in the first stage.

Taking their specialization into account, artisans can refine the product according to their own creative vision, including the raw materials, color, and other characteristics.

Participants can register via the online platform and submit their contest entries to the regional branches of the "Hunarmand" Association until November 10 of this year.

The final evaluation will be provided by the jury. Out of all submitted applications, the 10 best products will be selected as winners, each receiving a cash prize of 20 million sums.

In addition, the Tourism Committee and the "Hunarmand" Association will assist the winners in launching their products on online marketplaces and platforms, attracting necessary specialists in SMM, targeted advertising, and other marketing areas for a period of up to 3 months, reimbursing the cost of their services and additional expenses in accordance with established procedures, as well as promoting new products and entering export markets.
