The system for training personnel for internal affairs bodies will be updated

By the President's Resolution No. PP-303 of August 26, the reform of the professional training system for internal affairs bodies was determined.

According to the resolution, the regional training centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Fergana, Jizzakh, Tashkent, and Surxondaryo will be reorganized as corresponding branches of the Institute for Advanced Studies. They will retain the status of a legal entity.

Starting from January 1, 2027, the procedure for monetary allowance established for the respective positions at the Institute for Advanced Studies will be applied to the heads, staff, and teachers of the new branches.

Additionally, the professional training faculty of the Nukus branch of the institute will be transformed into the Sergeant Training Center.

The training of specialists from militarized and guard-security units of ministries and departments at the institute and its branches will be established on a paid-contract basis. The tuition fee for one academic hour per student is set at 12 percent of the BCA (Base Calculating Amount).

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, the educational process at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also be gradually updated. This will be based on the experience of the world's top 1000 universities and the "New Uzbekistan" University.

To ensure the integration of "education – research – practice" at the Academy, a system of schools will be introduced. The existing faculties and departments will be optimized, and schools and departments will be established on their basis.
