The state visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan and the Uzbek-Azerbaijani summit have come to an end.

The previous day, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a private meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart and chaired the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council. The talks culminated in the signing of the Treaty of Eternal Friendship and several other documents, as well as the launch of several joint projects.
