The state will cover the costs of "green" certification for major projects in New Tashkent
Investors who inject more than $50 million into the construction of non-residential facilities in New Tashkent will be granted a number of benefits. In particular, the state will pay for the issuance of "green building" certificates and assign a personal manager to each investor.
This became known during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the city under construction.
These certificates confirm that buildings comply with environmental standards. In addition, when implementing projects in New Tashkent, investors will not have to independently landscape 30% of the acquired plot. According to the master plan, the state will ensure the landscaping of 30% of the city's entire territory.
Another support measure will be project support from the start of work until the commissioning of the facility. Each project worth over $50 million will be assigned a responsible manager who will help the investor resolve arising issues.
The terms of support will be fixed in the investment agreement. For projects worth more than $50 million, the "one project — one agreement" principle will apply. The agreement will spell out the obligations and risks of the investor, as well as the list of benefits provided to them.
In addition, infrastructure payments for businesses will be reduced in New Tashkent to stimulate the construction of hotels, shopping centers, tourism facilities, and the social sphere.
