Infrastructure payments for hotels and shopping centers will be reduced in New Tashkent

In New Tashkent, infrastructure payments for hotels and shopping centers will be reduced to stimulate the construction of hotels, shopping centers, tourist facilities, and social infrastructure.

This became known during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to the city under construction.

Base rates for commercial, service, and business centers will be reduced three times, for hotels and tourist facilities — five times, and for cultural and entertainment venues — ten times. The fee for private kindergartens, schools, and hospitals will be 1% of the base rate.

The new rules will also apply to projects whose construction has already begun.

In addition, expedited procedures will be introduced for unique projects created by the world's leading architects.

There are also plans to shorten the time required for design, construction, and commissioning of facilities, as well as to limit cases where entrepreneurs are repeatedly asked for the same information.

Furthermore, 20,000 residential units designed for at least 70,000 people are planned to be commissioned in New Tashkent by the end of 2026. A 55,000-seat stadium and new buildings for ministries and departments are also being built in the city.
