Special Commission continues raids

Currently, raids aimed at improving ambient air quality are being continued by employees of the Eco-Police under the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change as well as regional main departments.

In particular, Eco-Police officers of the Tashkent Region Main Department of Ecology conducted another round of night raids. During the raid, it was revealed that one of the greenhouses located in the Tashkent district was burning coal without observing any environmental requirements, polluting the atmosphere. Measures were taken regarding this situation in accordance with the procedure established by law, and it was eliminated.

For reference, on October 23–24, 46 greenhouses in Tashkent region and 16 greenhouses in the city of Tashkent were studied. During the inspection, an instance of burning coal without dust and gas cleaning equipment was identified in one of the greenhouses in the "Hasanboy" neighborhood; a fine was imposed on the offender, and the operation of the greenhouse was suspended.

Raid events are continuing.
