The project "League of Student Theaters of Uzbekistan" has been named a winner of the II "Eurasia" International Award

Director of the State Youth Theater of Uzbekistan Farkhod Uktamovich Dzhuraev became a winner in the "Cultural Code" category of the II "Eurasia" International Award with the project "League of Student Theaters of Uzbekistan," which is being implemented by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the State Youth Theater of Uzbekistan.

"League of Student Theaters of Uzbekistan" is a long-term cultural and educational project aimed at developing the student theater movement, supporting creative youth, and popularizing the Russian language and the classical literary heritage of Russia and Uzbekistan.

As part of the project, students from higher educational institutions get the chance to try their hand at acting, work with professional directors, and take to the theater stage. One of the most notable events was the production of the play "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" featuring students from the Jizzakh branch of Kazan Federal University, which received a wide response from the audience.

The victory at the international level confirms the importance of joint work to develop youth creativity and strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties between Russia and Uzbekistan.
