The procedure for recording road marking violations in Uzbekistan will change
Starting from November 1, changes will be introduced in Uzbekistan to the procedures for crossing road markings, not wearing seat belts, and designating stationary radars.

Procedure for recording road marking violations to change in Uzbekistan
Starting November 1, the procedure for processing traffic violations related to crossing horizontal road markings near intersections and U-turn spots will change in Uzbekistan.
The relevant rules are set out in Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 596 dated October 29, 2026.
According to the document, Road Traffic Safety Service inspectors will not issue administrative offense reports for crossing 1.1 and 1.3 road markings within a distance of 50 meters before intersections and 20 meters before U-turn spots.
At the same time, the resolution also provides for the possibility of automatically recording violations related to the use of seat belts. Special automated photo and video recording complexes will be able to detect instances of driving a vehicle and carrying passengers without wearing a seat belt.
For this purpose, the equipment must meet the established technical requirements and be capable of automatically transmitting data to the "Administrative Practice" module.
The changes also affect the procedure for marking stationary radars. The 5.43 "Radar" road sign must be installed directly in the operating zone of the device, as well as at a distance of 250 to 500 meters ahead of it.
Drivers are advised to take the new rules into account and comply with the requirements of traffic regulations.
